bakış sunmaktadır. Ders, ilgili İSG
yönetmeliklerini ve inşaat sahalarındaki hastalıklar, yaralanmalar ve/veya
ölümlerle ilgili sektör bilgilerini ve alınması gereken önlemleri kapsayacak,
böylece öğrenciler inşaat sektöründeki başlıca işyeri sağlık ve güvenlik
sorunlarını anlayabilecek, bu alandaki mevcut kamu politikasını gözden
geçirebilecek ve bir işyeri denetiminin nasıl yapılacağını öğrenebileceklerdir.
This course presents an overview of significant topics in Occupational
Safety and Health. The course will cover
relevant OHS regulations and industry information on illnesses, injuries and/or
fatalities on construction sites and the precautions to be taken so that
students will be able to understand the major types of workplace health and
safety problems in the construction industry, review existing public policy in
this area, and learn how to conduct a workplace audit.
Course Learning Outcomes
1. Gaining knowledge of occupational health
and safety
2. Identifying
Hazards and Risks within a construction environment, knowing the principles of risk assessment
for maintaining and improving health and safety at work
3. Knowing
the importance of working around construction site and equipment safely,
interpreting work accident statistics and gaining awareness about the most
common work accidents in construction.
4. Knowing types and ways of occurrence of
occupational accidents; taking measures and implementing a successful
occupational safety management system on sites.
5. Gaining an awareness and understanding of
professional, legal and ethical responsibilities as a civil engineer about occupational health and safety at
construction sites.

etc. will be provided
within the CATs platform. You do not need to purchase any course
materials.
