Bu yazıda 1980 sonrası toplumsal değişim ve dönüşümlere paralel olaraksokakta kendilerine alan açan insan tiplerinin Türk romanındaki karşılıkları elealınmıştır. Alternatif kimliklerin romanlarda yer alması o zamana kadar ötekileşti-rilmiş olan tiplerin edebiyatta temsil niteliği kazanması anlamındadır. Romanlardaöne çıkan eşcinsel, yeraltı, yabancı ve asi tipler birey olma özelliklerini korurkengeniş bağlamlara da sahiptirler. Her biri toplumsal koşullar, dayatmalar neticesindeortaya çıkan söz konusu tiplerin, bu özellikleriyle yeni zamanların kültüründenizler taşıdığı düşünülebilir.
In this article, in parallel with the social changes and transfor- mations after 1980, the novel counterparts of people types, who make room for themselves in streets, are examined. The presence of the alternative identities in novels means identities othered until that time gains representation. While the homosexual, underground, alienated and rebellious types that come to the fore in the novel manage to keep their individuality, they also have a wide context. These types, who emerge as a result of social conditions and impositions, can be thought to carry traces of the culture of the new times.
