Abstract

The objective of this study is to investigate the correlation between Sunspot Cycle and cloud Covers in Earth's troposphere. When the variations of precipitable water vapor, air surface temperature, low cloud cover, mid cloud, and high cloud cover, sunspot number, slow solar wind proton density, Galactic Cosmic Rays, F10.5 Flux, Heliospheric Current Sheet during the solar cycle 23/24 minimum are taken account, a correlation between high cloud cover, mid cloud cover, precipitable wapor vapor, and slow solar wind is seen. On the other hand, low cloud cover, air surface temperature exhibit a correlation with sunspot number in the period of interest.
