Lect. PhD SADİYE OYA IŞIKÇI

Born in Muğla, she continued her primary education in İzmir. She graduated from İzmir Turkish College in the 1978-79 academic year and received his undergraduate education in the English Language Teaching Department of İzmir Dokuz Eylül University, Buca Faculty of Education, and graduated in the 1983-84 academic year.

In 1985, after successfully passing the Turkish Airlines cabin crew recruitment exams, she settled in Istanbul on 21.05.1985 and started working for THY. In 1988, she first worked as a Cabin Chief in F-28 and DC-9 aircraft types and then in all aircraft types within Turkish Airlines during those years. After retiring from Turkish Airlines, where she worked for over twenty years, she started working as a cabin chief in 2009 and worked as a Training and Control Cabin Chief in Onur Airlines between 2010-2014.

With the opening of Civil Aviation Departments within the Vocational Schools of Universities, within the framework of the educational support agreement between Nişantaşı University and Onur Airlines, she started to provide vocational training at Nişantaşı University Civil Aviation Cabin Services Department as an employee of Onur Airlines, then she left Onur Airlines and transitioned to academic life as a lecturer at the Civil Aviation Vocational Schools of Universities. During this period, she completed the Aviation Management Undergraduate Program of Anadolu University Faculty of Business Administration with an Honor Certificate and received her Master's degree in Business Administration Department of Beykent University. Then, she started the Istanbul Arel University Business Administration Doctorate Program and completed it in 2025. She is currently a staff member of Istanbul Kültür University Vocational School, Civil Aviation Cabin Services Department and teaches vocational courses in the Civil Aviation Cabin Services, Civil Air Transportation Management and Air Logistics Departments.
